My Love

Our Love was a young Love That was said would never last From 'Nam through Bush We've stood the test of time It may not be that hot, steamy, lustful Love we once shared But it's a steady compassionate, respectful, reverence we share We're still crazy about each other It's oh' so plain to see By the way we bicker and fight all too frequently Shall we say, We've both gotten the better part of each others' lives Thank Heaven for Miracles we've made it thus far It still gives me a thrill to see that sparkle in his eye From across a crowded room He'll attempt to turn me on I just hope he never loses that love and desire that he has for me We're devoted to each other It was our destiny
