My Child I have failed in my duty as a parent. You have fallen away. What can I say now to the Lord, as I am less , and left "marked" and wanting. The depression of my heart thickens, as I wonder not for the last time, how "I" could have done better. Chastised... The power of prayer... to change the world. As I know that I want too, but have no way of doing so. My Lord you are everything to me. The gift of raising our sunshine child, has been an honor and glory to you! I lift them up to you, from the first day to the last. I know that you will ever be there, as you have ever been there. You knew their name, before I. You heard the laughter, and even saw the smile... Long before I... held my child, in my arms. Please place your angels now... around them. Give them what you know, they need. What they lack. What they have... not prayed for! As they, will hear you, I know. As I, have faith.

One (of my four former) nestling(s) has spurned me, Ann... and you are right: All one can do is to put all one's faith in the hands of the All-Merciful One. And not to have any expectations, but to know that where there is life, there is hope. Thank you, Ann. Peace, Gershon

I felt the serene tone of your poem--solemn like a prayer--a touching write, Ann.

An introspective and uplifting poem that brings one to God's arms for comfort! A hymn to faith. Masterfully written dear, Ann.
