About a close friend who I know will always be there for me, even though we don't see eye to eye on many issues! We resolved our differences the following morning, and now are even closer!
I have a friend that I thought understood,
How do I tell him that he never could?
We have shared our ups and we've shared our downs,
Upon this earth, we have shared our own frowns,
We share in each other what we both like,
I thought we both had the same given sight,
But life in its mysteries is to blame,
For we are one but we are not the same,
Like the earth and sky, we both yearn to fly,
So please don't tell me that this is goodbye,
Throughout my life, I have made you my friend,
Is it time now my beloved to end?
If only we could share one thing in kind,
For our friendship now is so hard to find.
