Museum Adventure
one rainy afternoon, I found myself at a Museum of art
a place of valuable collections, so amazing and delightful
I was meandering when I came upon a really awful painting
the dark painting depicted a huge monolith structure opening
and as if a prelude the room began to go opaque and transparent
I found this quite annoying and tried to turn away-
I was frozen
frightened when I was transported
and finding me within
that dreadful painting
it was night and above was an obscure oval moon
a gruesome creature was slithering towards me-
it was repulsive
the monster wore a vicious gleaming grim grin
and spoke in a vindictive spiteful voice- wanting to patronize me
noxious was the smell of this part man and part snake demon
it lunged and I began to run
breathless I plunged forward
and I was victorious and fortunate- for I was now standing
once more looking at the horrible painting feeling quite weird and eerie
within a great stone cavern slithered away a snake
Looking around I found the room was empty and realized-
that the gallery was closed for the day
nevertheless, I felt pride for I had escaped that evil monster
NOW- how to get out of here . . .
