Missing You

she sits by her grandma
she holds her hand
she cries on her shoulder
she wanders her land

she asks her again
why did they go
why did they leave
when I crave them all so

her grandma sits by her
and holds her hand
she rubs her shoulder
and she cares for her land

she whispers softly
all that we know
is they were needed else where
so they were called home

she lays on her grandma
cries tears on her lap
she misses her loved ones
she wants them all back

She asks her once more
will I ever see them again
will I hold them so tightly
that I forget all this pain

her grandma rocks her
and strokes her hair
she caresses her arms
leaves her tears to the air

you will see them sometime
I just dont know when
you'll hold them so fiercely
and forget the pain then

just hold on child,
each day you will grow
stronger and stronger
theyre still loving you so
