Misery
With wounds from seasons that have trailed on
Candle of yearning burns to ignite the flame;
That once warmed those bitter gusty nights
A reality kneading deep into the bones
While clouds of reddish smoke flit into the night,
To shine a thousand reveries mocking me, I pluck stars.
