Masochist Magician

Sore feet
Feel the heat
Hot coals
Burning soles

Run to stream
Let off steam
Cool again
On the mend

Lie on nails
Then I wail
Over I roll
Back has holes

Open mouth
Sword goes south
Hard to swallow
In sweat I wallow

Public applauds
It’s me they laud
I say goodbye
Farewell they cry

Getting caught up on your poetry. This is very imaginative. LOts of humor or pathos, just as one wishes to read it. Love, Dave

I never thought of it this way before but you certainly have shown the masochism of such an occupation, well penned and I love the tightness of the rhyme poetry, Dory
