Love That Was Never Really Known

It was a love that was never meant to be,
A love that may or may not existed between two different worlds
But unexpectedly measured by the distance from how far he is
And I hold on to something which was never really known.

I pray to my God to take away this pain
So unjustifiable, the reason is within my suffering heart,
Sleeping and longing for someone I see whenever it rains
That I want to know where my stop should start.

But there was never a goodbye, and I long
For your hand which I never get to hold,
Your eyes staring like you've known me all along,
And your reassuring smile that makes the beats of my heart unfold.

And that was the only love I have never known, which my heart
Clings on the very edge, playing like crazy in my head.
I may never see your face again, forever we may be apart
But I will still wait for you in every rain while holding on to that love I dread.
