For years we got love wrong,
Ran after lust thinking its love,
Our desire chained us to pain.
Expectations attracted deception,
Performance replaced true doctrines.
As we regarded humbleness boring,
The world lost its true inheritance.
In chase for material faith was lost.
Casual sex brought death of many.
Rights misused to replace discipline.
Respect faded with young lives.
In our chase for status,
Christianity lost true fellowship.
In our desire for independence,
Our children suffered violence.
Abortion answer to wrong choices,
As pornography tainted our screens,
Divorce escalated like air balloon.
Freedom defined by skin colour.
Are we really humans?
Or animals acting like humans,
Where is the humanity if we human…
