I never believed in love at first sight until I saw you. Days later I learned that you felt the same. We had a whirlwind romance and got married two months later from the day we met. We fell madly in love and we were inseparable. That all changed the day you got drafted to go fight for our country. I didn't want you to go. I became anti war instantly . But I lost the battle, you chose war over me. My heart was no longer in my chest, it was over seas fighting for a war I didn't believe in. Your letters were my only ray of sunshine. Days turned to months, months turned to years.I didn't know if I could survive another day without you. My lonely nights seemed like an eternity. I will never forget when you returned to me, I was so empty inside and missed you so much. You saw me staring into nothing and took me into your arms and my heart started to beat for the first time since you left. That my love was the happiest day of my life.
