Lonely Heart

I'm sad although it's only been a while In fact I only left you yesterday My lonely heart aches with each passing mile I lay here alone thinking of your smile On my heart strings your gentle spirit plays Being away from you is such a trial For me no other has your unique style You have beauty that will not go away It flows endlessly like the river Nile Of my decisions you're the most worthwhile The happiest position on my dial I long to be caressed like potters clay To Lose myself in your feminine wiles Dedicated to my Sweetie, I miss you already.

For the villanelle is always a trial You used wiles and Nile, how creative I like your style YOu used that too, these words are harder there's no denial Dang you even used dial, better not use bile, can't imagine using tile maybe pile or vile, ok these are definitely harder lol

anyway it didn't save the format, and like I said definitely not offering advice, I really like the poem just like this. Had to break the form recently myself, but someone said in the modern Villanelle it's ok.

Well I definitely can't offer much advice to a poet of your stature. I think you are an absolutely wonderful poet, but I must have a little fun, if any of these key words help, great, I wouldn't change it, but if these don't help and you want more let me know lol. I know you don't need the help, I probably should have soup mailed, but here already. From the person you write about, don't stray If you wanted to rhyme with plays offer that person praise I'm sure just a few words would amaze
