Living Martyrs
Jesus meant not we subsist in
spartan lives
symbols of ascetic monks
isolated in
a desert of self-defiance
Still we live for the next
self-orientated
purchase- relationship- craving
fad things
frequently choose to ignore our
Eternal door
We ought be judicious to
His bounty
not enslaved toward the
“next thing”
instead invest in Heavenly
lasting joy
“whoever wants to save his life will lose it-
whoever loses his life for me will find it”
