Labryinth

Religious votives light a somber lair. A hole I fathered with rhinestones of doubt and swatches of fault. Sentinels loom - vapid gargoyles crouch in ghostly contemplation ogling my handiwork. Poised to pounce when the flames die out.

Congratulations, John for your win in Catie's contest! There's suspense and mystery in your verses: an atmosphere of dreadfulness, as the gargoyles stare at your handiwork ready to seize it when the candle's flames die out! What a magnificent work! I wish you continued success in all your writing and acting endeavors. God bless. Love, peace and happiness, Andrew.
