Knight wings

water is near
no money and sight's
tired of heat, cool
and no lights
selling of weapon's
callabons and potions
we haven't a clue
what's talking in motions?
strangled by days
and hopeless too fights
sinister coins
money for fright's
we trade for our war's
invading our sight
stealing like mice
were hiding by wing's
in earth's holy night
it may save our wishes
by laying on sand's
and waiting by knights

Powerful writing, Ernestine. "Money for frights we trade for our freedom" evokes the greed and uncertainty so many Americans are feeling today. Very compelling write!
