June 2013

Grey stone squares clip the tramp
cats only inside the correctional, their
heads like small pillows pressed
against the windows peering out.
Great stucco walls contort the path,
the stones shyly stiffen never moving
past the landlady’s house, by the ocean,
in a simple neighborhood of sister's
whose souls fly past the orange stalls
and the copper pipes that vibrate
