If Man Wishes Happy To Be

If Man wishes happy in his life to be First, his heart and soul has to reconcile So as peace between these two adversaries to reign For Impossible it is, happiness to be achieved, when The heart one thing desires and another the Soul allows! But For this reconciliation ever to take place The dual nature of himself, Man has to realize: That one half of him a beast is and the other half, divine So Man, could never please the one part and just forget the other But To each, its right portion he has to give, at the proper time Only in this way, Man, as a Human will be reborn and reach Happiness sublime! © Demetrios Trifiatis 22 January 2016

First of all, my name is Greek and means, son-of-mother-earth! Second, I am Greek and a trained philosopher. Third, there was a philosopher of the third century AD, named Demetrios of Phaliron. Fourth the Holly Bible refers to the name Demetrios John, Epist. 3;12. Probably you have Democritos in mind! Thank you so much dear Andrea!
