If I Could Change the World

If I could change the world, I would, Do my best to bring about good. But where do l start? Where do I begin? When will of all the hate end? I must realize change starts with me And then realize that you are me Stop looking at them vs. us, And know that unity is a must. If I could change the world, I would Pray to have love like child, if l could Before my mind was influenced by hate, A universal prayer, to give us all a clean slate. If l could change the world, I would, And you would be family if I could. I believe we must begin change with our children and teach it in the schools as well as making an effort to change ourselves. They delight in reminding us when we slip up. A wonderful poem created to teach Alexis. I hope many read your poem. 7 ; )
