I Love Hard-Diamond Hard
sometimes I cry,
imagine I am in bed about to die,
my daughters at my side.
I think then I might feel loved...
maybe...
something from my childhood...
I guess...I think...I don't know.
I love hard with everything I have
...but I don't know how to feel loved...
I don't.
I love hard...diamond hard.
accepting love back? it might as well be coal.
I think it's something from my childhood, I guess,
I don't know.
maybe if I was dying my daughter's at my side...
...maybe then I would believe that someone could love me,
maybe...
sometimes I cry in the middle of the day
or anytime in front of a screen.
I love hard really really hard.
if I love you...you know it,
if I know you...there's a good chance
...a good chance I love you,
I know...'cause I'm all out of shirts.
you love me too?...I know...
but
I don't know how to feel it
...I don't understand it.
You love me?
" I love you more!"
