I Can Be Civil

I can be civil, I can be polite, In hypocrisy I take no delight I don't trust easy Not quick to confide I'm intuitive In that I take pride I seem to discern What comes and what goes but a truthful heart... That easily shows I can be civil I can be polite But just to pretend That's simply not right! Eileen I'm the kind of person who wears her heart out on her sleeve. When I'm not happy, it shows. When I'm hurt, it shows. When I'm upset, it shows. I try my best to be honest. I try. I guess at times, that is all one can do. Try.

How kind of you, David. It's not always easy being vulnerable. I'm often hurt, and unfortunately, I'm learning to be more cautious and discerning. I'm tired of hurting. I'm sure I hurt others as well...perhaps due to my insecurities, but...I speak my mind and try not to be fake, if I can. :) Thanks for dropping by.
