Hush of Christmas Past
Hush of Christmas past
Sleepy Christmas trees
stand in the corners,
Wrappers and empty packs
pile up in gallery,
Tired faces
with monotonous looks,
Holidays are over.....
What an agony !
Kids cheerful now,
have their favourite gifts,
Looking into each other's
relishing compare,
Newer rhymes learnt,
Bells and frills treasured,
Recalling the past....
and dreaming for next !
Done for this year,
Oh how long...
do we have to wait,
For the next Christmas!!
