Bitter cold and wet outside
Warm and snug by fireside
Watching trees bend in the breeze
As we sit here at our ease

See the bird come down to rest
Flying into the wind a dreadful test
Resting there upon the eave
Until again it’s time to leave

Gutters on the old house creak
As the water from it leak
But remember it’s so nice don’t grouse
When sat inside our little house

Enjoyed reading this one..It could somewhat fit the weather for some today..We have been having strong winds being on the outer area of Sandy I guess..It could have something to do with the way the wind stream is down or the combination of the two...It hasn't been too bad here...We did not get any rain which we really needed..Sara
