Home Sweet Home
How heavenly the haven of my long-past youth.
Overflowing feelings of joy I came to know.
Melancholy melted midst the mirth of my family.
Embraced by love, I knew that I could face the world.
Safety lay within the walls of this sanguine sanctuary.
Warmth and a wealth of goodness too would follow me.
Everything I needed in my early education was provided.
Encouraged by parents and siblings, I have memories to keep
Throughout my life because of home sweet home.
Hope will never die no matter where I roam, for
Only those we truly love remain forever in our hearts.
Moments pass so quickly. That’s mortality!
Eternity will find me home again with family.
