Holy Is the Lamb
I was weak and filled with sin
Nothing in my life seemed to make sense
Then I met with the King of Kings
I’ve been praising His name ever since
Holy is the Lamb… sweet Jesus, my everything!
I was despised and filled with pain
My entire existence seemed grim
But my Lord, the lover of my soul…
Sent His comforter to sing a hymn
Holy is the Lamb… sweet Jesus, my everything!
I was discouraged and filled with worry
Everywhere I looked there was apprehension
Then I choose to reach out to the Lord above
And he held me up and relieved my tension
Holy is the Lamb… sweet Jesus, my everything!
I was bitter and filled with hatred
All around me there seemed to be no good
Without really understanding, I started praying
The Lord reached down and held me until I understood
Holy is the Lamb… sweet Jesus, my everything!
I was distressed and filled with foreboding
Wherever I looked there was something to fear
Then He led me to a closer relationship with the One
Who holds me up and wipes away my tear
Holy is the Lamb… sweet Jesus, my everything!!!
