hold is true

For the stone of a road is broken
I am broken just as much
To see the crack in the road I know
Where I should beI take a breath of air
The oxygen is poison to my
Guilty lungs
In my eyes its poison
Like a taste of a simple drug
I hold close to my passion
As long as my arms can hold to
To keep close to my innocence
Just to be bold
I know my life is shortening
So I know I should hold true to
My dedication to something I know
Is true
I know it might sound crazy but
 I promise I don’t lie
That my guilt is not for me
But for the men in my life
 That qualify
Ive been hurt by many
And saved by very few
But I know that I am innocent
That is what i hold true
