Here, There and Back Again

There have been so many places
That I have been to in my life
So many sights, so many faces
That it all feels like a blur

From a Paris night to the streets of Rome
I have been to nearly everywhere
I want to go home
But I do not have a home to go to

All the memories I have
Of life here out on the road
Have left me alone and weary;
It is making me carry a heavy load

Of stones in my heart
But there is no end to this life;
Something I have known since the start
There is no escape from this

I may not know where I am going
But I have known where I have been
It is all a part of me
Going here, there and back again

    Life is a big circle...sometimes I feel this way too.I have been to many places but no place to call home. So many wonderful memories. This is an awesome poem.

    Full circle. Not to be traveled alone. Share the ride.
