Heavenly Romance
The golden sun rays shone brightly
Happy for the new day
Joyful in the warmth she brings
Making her heart want to sing
The moon with his low light
Soft and sober searches the night
Wandering in elusive coldness
Sad in his sober solace
Sun meets moon where darkness ends
Extending her loving hands
Giving light to the moons blueness
Drawing them slowly into her flame
Moon no longer eager to say goodbye
No longer wanted to know reasons why
In love with the early sunrise
He held her on that faithful day
In her heart she wondered
Would he hold her for a day
Or a thousand more
As they rise and fall through time
She ignited his world
He illuminated hers
Gave him hope in her light
He calmed her in all storms.
