Have My Cake and Eat It, Too

My Mind just racing- debating Fate (A thousand thoughts arrive at once!) I hesitate to contemplate The aftermath in future months Would I be sane to stay unknown, Or claim my Fame and fall Insane? Reap doubtful seeds myself have sewn- While I wonder who's to blame...

Chan Words most poets and writers can relate to. Writing can drive you insane sometimes thinking is it good enough for others and will it make me famous. Yes, your poems are good enough and you are famous as my friend. And a little insane. LOL You are making me blush with the awesome comment on my Dedication poem. I meant every word of it. Hugs

Who is truly known? each and everyone of us is an enigma, we often fool ourselves. Insanity may be a welcome change. Perhaps it is the insane who truly know themselves.

This is absolutely tops: smooth, well-crafted (my best compliment), rhyme non-tortured. Interesting thoughts. Remember, only the sane question their sanity.

Ha ha ha ha! My Friend....You spinned another surprise. This poem is great You know, I never cease questioning the direction I have taken ..that of writing! Will it leave me sane, will it get me to the desired destination, will it.....I relate to this piece in more ways than one. You've condensed so many ideas into a purified 8 lines. This style makes me respect your intellect. Loyal Friend, JM
