Goodbye
How do you say goodbye,
When a father starts to cry,
A mother’s heart has been broken,
Too many words left unspoken.
The grief a sister must face,
Without you here she cannot replace.
Friendships made so long ago,
A bond that will never be let go.
A wife must stand alone,
With a strength she’s never known.
A daughter that has your eyes,
Whispers to daddy in the sky.
Goodbye to a son, a brother and friend;
A husband, a father to the end.
You will be missed by one and all,
So listen for us whenever we call.
