Goodbye

Goodbye, Sweet Day Magenta sky shines at twilight as I ponder how the sun glows though night flows in! Dusk grows colder. . . A lone gull’s cry has me sighing goodbye, sweet day. For the Goodbye Contest of Nayda Ivette Negron

Beautiful, Andrea. I've been wanting to write one of these. Yours is lovely. And KOs...3 that I can remember. Funny though, I've not broken many major bones...only 3 fingers, one toe, and a fractured ankle...all in high school sports.

It is like a song Andrea, so beautiful and so full of colors. Just a few words here and there and it could be a great song. Congrats on your grand win. Love and best wishes always...Ravindra...Andrea D

With the morning we see the light. As our hearts are reborn with delight. Through out the day we go our way. To find the night lives in disamay.

very pretty - I like the sighing, the inevitability of the day ending :)

When twilight of life comes around and love ones or friends pass away in this world, with sadness we say goodbye to them. Simple verse but with deep thougths in the lines. Andrea, thank you again for your visit. I am very sleepy now but I want to post one poem before I retire tonight. Love Dalila

Hello, Andrea, thanks for everything... even that little tiny talk..I' will pray for your dad.. It makes me sad, that i don't know how to feel at this moment... hopefully i will have a nerves breakdown... <---- you see...i'm wishing myself the worst of the worse of the worst.... nice inspiration... I can't remember ever having a sweet day. I don't know about that cold... everthing is always changing around here. One minute it is winter, next it is raininy...lol... take care...pd

I am a night person and I really enjoyed how you depicted this transition, yes a sweet goodbye, Andrea :) -- I really like how you did your line cuts (ok I don't know if I am using the right term)-- I mean not in the typical three by three lines per stanza-- pretty cool :D-- I hope this places high! Just dropping a quick hi and I hope you're having a great weekend :D hugs to you!!
