On glossy sand, frilly dresses rolled
Lovely the outlines in bright décor;
As they murmured where pristine crest gushed
Not knowing this beach would lie quiet.
Moments ebb as I stroll down the lake
Remembering their chuckles, ablaze;
Like early moon’s glint through summers’ play
Yet the girl with blooms hushed modestly.
The other grasped a red parasol;
Quivering with June’s mist’s fragrances
While her dear friend donned a bonnet blue,
Yet moans of young wishes crushed fine hours .
Neither rocks could stop them, not the tide
Though she in blue, had to live afar...
Alone, I droop on a red-blue shore…
While fingers stroke a portrait of tears.
