Loved the rhyming and the intention. But the vote is the best invention. Not by power not by might but by words will God win the fight. Rights are suppressed by the unknown by birth, sex, Those on a throne. Hold to power is what they do. One day old age will say their through. Thanks for the attention!

It's a sad fact of life that we all at some point in time have to fight for our freedom. I hope the Lebanese people rise up and defeat those forces that keep it in ruins. Have a great day my friend.

I remember when Lebanon was the 'Switzerland of the Middle East.'... Too bad Lebanon didn't do to Arafat's men what King Hussein of Jordan did. History may recall it as a bloodbath in the Jordan River, but King Hussein saved his country from ruination. Regardless of all the 'globalism' cries from youth --- and it was ever aye --- there is a point to defending one's country and keeping the terrorists and lowlifes at bay! Love your message! Happy Sunday to you. Joy and Light, Gershon

Your pen is powerful, Eileen. I believe that our pens and voices came make a difference around the world. I am praying for you and your beautiful country. I am saddened by the evil and greed of this world, but I try to be hopeful and prayerful, otherwise the weight of it would crush me. Sending much love and prayers to you, Rhonda xx

I have been following for decades what is going on in Lebanon and, I regret to say, that the situation brews troubles. Your Acrostic is what Lebanon needs to find peace! God bless Lebanon and you my dearest, Eileen! Filakia!

Thank you, my dear philospher poet. Yes, this country has gone through much tumult in the past and things don't look good at present. We can only pray and write. What else is there to be done. Thank you for your kind words, dear. Filakia

Thanks, Andrea. Lebanon is mentioned often in the Bible. The verse in Psalm is beautiful: "The Righteous shall flourish like the cedards of Lebanon." I hope the country itself flourishes, not just its beautiful cedars. Thanks for the visit.

Your poetic voice of passion is finely honed, dear Eileen. Your demands for en end to corruption, injustice, economic oppression, greed, and bribery are eloquent and to the point. I wish the best for you and your beautiful nation. I am sorry to hear things feel so bleak for you, but never lose hope, my friend. Your voice is an important part of the change that needs to occur. Thank you for your visit today. God bless you ~ John

Thank you, Richard. One does what one can. There is a decided feeling of hoplessness. We often talk of relocating somewhere else. We will see how things go.
