Four Flowered Fields

happy yellow daffodils nodding in the summer breeze are greeting each passerby with fragrant delight underneath an azure sky butterflies and hummingbirds complete the perfect picture of lavender fields rows of tulips form an arch arranged by color beneath a bright cloudless Holland sky. . . a rainbow of blooms in a crimson sky, sun sinks into an ocean of grass - wave upon wave of poppies splendidly surging Written 11/18/12

Oh, I love flowers, Andrea!! I had never planted tulips, but my neighbour's always reach up to embrace Spring. I can smell the lavender! A write to feed the senses! Splendid imagery.:) There'd been a field beside my parent's home with catnip growing there..(hint hint:) Hope you'll have a great weekend! Love, Mikki

Oh, wow, this is really great. The imagery is amazing - I especially love the last stanza. I can picture it so well in my mind! This will definitely rank at the top in Russell's contest!
