My eating habits changed the world,
it is so plain for you to see.
Enduring all the insults hurled,
the truth shines forth from me.
'Twas but for me to seal our fate,
my mom would always say.
If I were not to clean my plate,
famine would have its way.
So day by day I played my role,
to keep the world at peace.
I strived so hard, such lofty goals,
My waist became obese.
As I grew and gobbled down
each burger, malt and fry,
when others sought to wear a crown,
I took another piece of pie.
When walking past someone with girth,
remove your hat and pray.
But for them, a ravaged earth,
that hunger swept away.
