Crippled by tiredness
and alcohol
with a head full of worry
and a body breaking down.

Security is elusive
everything is temporary
and nothing is for life
in this disjointed dystopia.

Fools hope
by chasing and clasping
dreams that glisten
like fragile glass.

Wondering minds escape the day
with its torturous slow clocks.
Fishing without a rod,
Fishing without bait.

This is a great piece, somewhat sad but still leaving hope for a brighter tomorrow. I wish you all the best. Smiles from Lolita
