Father3

Once there was a father
who kicked and rammed his son
but fortunately for Harold his
Father

He died so early by God's delight
that Harold at sixteen was free
but the scars he'd encountered
had ruined his personality...

Now Harold never said a kind word
and it was a miracle he found a wife
So we children were born with brutality
and that's how we remembered our life

The swing of his fist and trash from his mouth
pushed the kids further and further away
so by thirteen they were all a mess
one was a thief the others just ran away.

They grew up angry and hungry for affection
never knowing their own boundaries or turf
thank God there mother was there
to give them some sense of their own self worth

The father developed cancer and
lost his job and then his life
his children were all estranged
including his loyal wife.
