Fare Ye Well
Fare Ye Well my good friends
in life, partings come and go
there are horizons beckoning
some new, some old friends
We walk together now and then
till our ways part for a while
we each have things to do
that lie in different directions
Life so full of these parting ways
children, leaving, spreading their wings
setting out on torturous roads
leading them to who knows where
Fare Ye Well my good friends
from here I must travel on alone
searching, seeking always looking
for the meaning of life itself
