Famine
FAMINE
(thousands of children all over the world die every day for lack of food)
Famine:
Merciless night of death,
In your darkness, thousands of
Children are devoured
Just
To appease your, insatiable
Appetite for young souls,
But in no avail
As
You never stop asking
For more
While the children, with:
Howling stomachs
Fading eyes
Chattering teeth
Fragile limbs
Swelling anguish
Raging anger
Wrathful mind
Tormented spirit
Instead
Of a frightful flight
Before the stretching wings
Of death
Pray to him, their only
Redeemer,
To end their agony
And
Deliver them from the
Abyss of despair
For
Their weak shoulders cannot,
Any longer,
Withhold the weight of injustice
And
Of human indifference!
