Fall Transformation

Days of fall just before winter arrives As daylight hours slowly fade Twilight peeks through the trees Leaves hang tangled in branches creating ghost like images Silhouettes and shadows grow creating new dimensions Gentle rustling of the midnight wind Creates mystical illusions The full moon hangs in the sky Surveying earths landscape far below Stars begin to make an appearance Twinkling merrily in the darkened skies Clouds begin to play hide and seek As they give chase across the open sky Undaunted, wild and free Step by step fall transforms Welcoming in a new season.

"Twilight descends over trees" Twilight does not descend "over" trees. Clouds may float "over" trees. It may sound poetic, but, in nature, it does not happen that way. You could say "descends through" trees, but, that doesn't happen either. A hot air balloon may descend over mountains. But, twilight is an appearance. We don't say, "Sunlight ascends" and we don't say "Twilight descends."

this is another one really nice for nature. Gosh, it could have worked for Shadow's contest. (unless you entered?) I did not win in that one! well, I always enjoy visiting you and hope you have a nice evening.
