Face Girl
Deep within hides a girl trapped
In a woman’s body full of bruises
Locked away in the deepest place
Of her soul
Dark and lonely were her days
Pain and sorrow brought out rage
She was trapped in a cage
Lock and key
Was her not escape
Robbed of lost years and time
Bitten broken weak never to speck
Forbidden to tell afraid of what
They might say
In a corner of her mind she stay
Many years passed her by
Still young at heart older and wise
She one day faced the girl inside
With tears in her eyes
She held her tight as to make things right
She fought the fight it was time
To brake free and be the better fixed strong
Woman she fought to be
Buries tucked away a reminder of younger days
Scares are forever reminders of what we have gotten threw
Every situation in life is a lesson to listen and learn
The girl is now a strong lady
Always striving always fighting
