Envy

ENVY Envy, Who are you? Although your nature I ignore, Many times on my way, you I have found, Tell me truly, if you please, Just this only Time, Are you evil? Are you a crime? Or Are you an EVIL CRIME? © Demetrios Trifiatis 21 February 2013

A good question, Demetrios...envy left unattended always leads to some crime. This is an insightful write. Annalise

Envy is soul-decay and decay is loss - a form undesired just as a dross... You never fathom why it exists in us - since it turns a human into a cuss! Your words open up many folds of a really puzzling issue!

Great questions to ponder! The only time envy is beneficial is when it is tempered with a desire to emulate born out of appreciation for what is! Of course...the Word is clear...Thou shalt not envy! Lovely write...filakia!

It's the root of all evils so they say! A very compelling essay on the human condition! Have a great day my friend!

These are good questions. I think envy is evil. It is not good. People that envy what other people have can never be happy. Thanks for sharing. Lucilla
