Endless Waltz

What happened there that night?
No one really knows
the curtains have been drawn
No one lives there anymore
But the music plays all through the night
They dance to the rhythms, but they cannot be seen.

Cruel, bitter, endless
The windows of their souls have been shut
The hour of darkness falls upon their breast
The deepest parts of their sensitivity,
Is touched by the coldness of their doom.

They danced again last night
This time, to the music of their own feet
Shadows dancing on the wall
Spirits floating on air
Their endless waltz.
