December Daunting rain from the floating clouds turned into a blanket of magical snow on the ground Evergreen trees bowing their boughs with the weight of the falling snow Chimneys blaze with warm crackling amber fires for the long, freezing winter - Evening nights, and the crisp winter days Merry evenings with cups of hot chocolate or wine to stay warm amidst the chilly weather Brighten faces with surprises in pretty boxes left behind under the Christmas tree Eager children’s chatter, dashing, dodging, and dancing to music and holiday cheer Rejoicing with those we love in prayer 10/28/2015
