Dawn Rising
Dawn Rising
At break of dawn,
we rise from our bed.
Are we too late to see?
The morning light,
Another sunrise.
"Will you watch it with me?"
He takes my hand,
Then he smiles and says,
"Where would I rather be?"
Together we
watch the sun's rebirth.
Can love be born anew?
