Come In

the open door
bangs in the howling wind --
a black cats runs out

the carpet
is sticky beneath my feet --
the flashlight dims

shadows move
across the moonlit window --
the smell of sulfur

on the chaise she lays
a black puddle by her wrist --
guano on her dress

It has a title because for this contest it did not matter, , basically trying to write a haiku about a holiday makes it fairly imposible for it to be a haiku-though they are haiku-like they are fantasy and so not haiku, I did not experience any of it..so not haiku/ I did it to contribute to the contest to be part of the fun
