Come Closer
Candles sway gently illuminating our tiny two bedroom home
Soft and sweet love songs dance gracefully from room to room
I pick you up, pull you in
so fresh and inviting is your fragrance
I close my love struck eyes
and twirl you endlessly and effortlessly
through fields of jasmine
skipping past cloud nine
drinking you in one kiss at a time
Moment upon moment
building a life
with you at my side
Come closer
as I wrap you in my arms
hold you tighter
make your burdens lighter
Come closer
make this moment divine
