China Birds SF

Once coming the birds cry out
they sing as if a band full of sopranos
singing the portrait of the queen.
Their sound spreads across the sky
on a soft,windy breeze. A toothless
Chinese cigar seller, half drunk
ambles across the street, step
hard on my foot. No apologies.
I will leave China soon it's clumsy
hard flying mania frantically except
for their delightful pitch.
