The sea is beautiful, but danger lurks...Your poem causes a cold shiver to run through my arms, Carolyn. In my younger days I used to swim far out at sea, but I don't dare do it anymore! ~ Warm regards & hugs // paul

Heya Carolyn, I can hear that Jaws creepy music in the background, as that monster inexorably closes in, as indeed your poem does in tandem, best luck in the contest, cheers David

Love the title, clever girl! If you are up to swimming with sharks, I'll take you to the North Shore when you come to Hawai'i! (but my hammerhead photos were taken in Waikiki). Aloha! Rico

I like the menancing tone here, and the feeling of being stalked - that last line gave me the shivers!

Ooohoo! What a picture! Really good one here. Hope that isn't a real situation and that wasn't the last picture ever taken of her. God Bless, JB

While reading the poem and viewing the accompanying photo, I could just hear John Williams's music in the background.

- Woow ... - The sea gives and the sea takes ... best wishes in the contest, Carolyn :) - I would be a "chicken" ... no diving for me - (I have had a "blue day today" ... I do not want to read more poems today ... too many tears) - hugs and lovely weekend, my friend // Anne-Lise :)

You captured that photo in your words splendidly Carolyn. Girl missing--that would be inevitable. All the best my friend.

The area where I live is known for shark attacks. Hard to enjoy swimming when you know they're out there! Thanks for reading, Vijay.

You have nailed this one, Carolyn. That's how I'd see it. I sure hope this picture is photoshopped and not a real situation, because she's in a real predicament! Good work.
