I don't like these one liners but had to write them otherwise i would have had to choose to write about one or two and that is not fair - i was going to do limericks for all then discovered it is 1 - 5 lines in total:-( hugs Jan xx

Dearest Jan, Yes, of course you can use my quote with my name underneath, it will be an honor to put my epigram next to that of Plutarch so he -my grand-grand -grand -grand-father could see that his descendants are still able to scribble one line or two! haha! Thank you!

Thanks Nette - as I said in my mail I have done a tribute to you as I thought I could write 5 5 line poems ... then read the rules properly -- doh bird brain! A hymn to all poets involved here your tribute is dear, Jan! Each deserving every praise!! A seven! Having said that, allow me to paraphrase my countryman of old-Plutarch- and say this: "Painting is poetry incarnated in colors While Poetry is painting immortalized in speech!" © Demetrios Trifiatis I am certain that my great-great-great-great-great grandfather will not be offended by that! haha!

I wrote about myself with honesty Alexis - I can write funny at a drop of a hat and many people will just see me as a funny poet - but behind the humour there can be sadness - if I brighten up someone's day with my poopy poems that is the most important thing to me:-) hugs jan xx
