Broken '07

What dreams, these I've taken? What lives, these I'm living? You dream, I hope. You laugh, I think. You need, I want. Want more? What more? Giving, receiving, Needing, demanding, Sleeping, praying. Where are you? Where is that love we shared? Those cavities we created? There is no answer. Give thee thy daily bread. In giving and repenting, Shall I be heard? Lords they hear, and Gods give [Their God’s gifts] These words, not life, not love. Or lovers to each other. Not anything. Not yours, not mine. Not you, nor me. Destined paths, paths destined. They inter-twine and bend before breaking. Do you feel those thorns around you? Imbedded pain so deep. I heard crying. Before and after, And many times that fell between. And so on to forgiving. Hating, spite, And spiteful hatred. Hateful and revenging. Remorseful and repenting. Show no reward. That we served time, And that our time was served. Or how hungry I am feeling. How swollen are my breasts. How much do you know of love? Of giving breath into new life? You’ll know nothing more, And I’ll know much less. Leaving only those sweet words, Upon your dying breath: ‘I loved someone, once.’

You certainly have a way of tugging at the heart strings... '...bend before breaking,' and your devastating final three lines. For your grief, if it be real... God bless. Keith
