Breathtaking
Beauty walked six feet tall and slender into the store where I was working one day.
Raptly I watched him as he sauntered down aisles until his deep
Engaging eyes of chocolate satin met my reverencing gaze. Then
An alluring smile appeared on his finely chiseled face; Adonis had graced my life!
Trembling inside my skin, I nearly gasped, for
Happiness danced in my heart. He was the harbinger of my 17th birthday’s delight,
Teasing me with those dark tempting eyes as he strolled over to my counter and
Arousing my romantic hope with every step that drew him closer to me.
Keeping my wits, I took a deep breath, for I was
Intoxicated by my sweet imaginings.
Night was nearing. Though I did not know it yet,
Great gladness was in my grasp; a kindred spirit I would soon embrace!
